Monument of Gyeongsangnam-do No.09
It is a representative fortress built on a flatland during the period of Joseon Dynasty. Based on the geomancy of Pyeongsanakan which describes a scene where a seagull gently lands on a flat sandy beach, the fortress was built with a shape of a turtle crawling to the peak of the mountain. Also, the gate of the fortress is located on the ear and nose of the turtle-shaped area.
