Daeryeom who went to the Chinese Tang Dynasty in the 3rd year of the reignof King Heungdeok of Silla (828), brought seeds of a tea plant, and plantedthem in Hwagaedongcheon for the first time. The oldest tea plants have grownhere. Hadong Tea Museum is a place where you can understand history andculture of Hadong tea and experience the mystery of tea. It features ‘TeaCulture Exhibition Hall’, ‘Tea Experience Hall’, and ‘Ceramic ExperienceHall and Tea Store.’
