It is a fortress on a flatland surrounding a village and has four gates in all directions. At the hillside of Woodubong on the east of Oryangsang, you can see Geoje Dundeokki-sung where King Uijong (the 18th King of Koryo) was exiled to for three years due to a rebellion raised by the kingdom’s military leaders. At the foot of the mountain, there is a temple called Shingwangsa which enshrined Oryang-seokjo Yeorae Jwasang (A stone statue of seated Buddha) in Seokbulam.
