Jirisan Mountain is the 1st National Park of Korea, with numerous high peaks and cleanstreams running throughout it. Cheonwangbong Peak (1,915m) is recognized to reflect thespirit of Koreans and the divine peak of the people. The magnificent scenery of sunriseemitting bright rays over the sea of clouds surrounding the peak as it dawns stirs awe to itsviewers as if they are witnessing the first day of the world. The mountain’s magnificentboulders, waterfalls, standing dead trees, snowy landscape, mysterious sunset, and thebeautiful sceneries throughout the four seasons are the sights beyond words.
