Agyangnu Pavilion with a panoramic view of the Namgang River and vast open fields
As Agyangnu Pavilion is located in a place with spectacular view of Namgang River, you can take an entire look at a wide-open field and a levee in Beopsu-myeon. It was restored after the Korean War and went through a repairing process in 1963 to have the current appearance. It is as big as 3 kan (a unit of measurement referring to the distance between two columns) in the front and 2 kan along the side and a hipped-and-garble roofed building. It is said that the pavilion was named after a scenic spot in China called ‘Yueang’. It was said to have a signboard ‘Giduheon’ in old times but the signboard ‘Agyangnu’ written by Oh Jae-bong (penname:
Cheongnam) is remained.
Monument of the Song ‘Virgin Voyeur’
It is said that the song was made by a composer Han Bok-nam upon the request from Yun Bu-gil, a director of a wandering music band because he couldn’t forget the two ladies rowing a boat from Agyang Ferry for travelers to get them cross over a river and the beautiful Agyang Ferry.
