Euiryeong-gun is located at the junction where the main stream and the branches of Namgang meet. On the south of the river spreads a fertile rice field and some basins on the mountain area, making a good living environment. Euiryeong is an oval shape; long from east to west and short from north to south. On the northwest stands Mt. Jagulsan(897m) and on the northeast stands Guksabong(688m). Euiryeong is adjacent to Haman and Jinju to the south across Namgang River, Changnyeong to the east across Nakdonggang River, Sancheong to the west and Hapcheon to the northwest.
Tourism resources of Euiryeong includes Chungiksa Temple which worships General Gwakjeu, Eibyeong Jejeon, Culture & Arts Exhibition, Traditional Paper Hanji and Ceramics Experience, Traditional Partition Byeongpung, and cloisonne works. There are also other scattered historical heritages and natural resources like Byeokgye Tourist Attraction, Mt. Hanusan and Mt. Jagulsan.
